Smelling Sensational!

I’ve a bit of a weakness for a nice aroma throughout the house, some people burn candles, incense or even essential oils while a lot of people instead have those automatic room fresheners. I tried one of those but it made me sneeze and sneeze until the cows came home.

I tried general fragrance candles but you just don’t seem to be able to smell the fragrance until you are standing right over it, incense fills the room with smoke and can be a bit over powering causing you to open a window and blow all the smoke and fragrance out the window.

So I found a better way to keep a house or room smelling sweet, Soy Wax Melts. They essentially work the same as essential oils in an oil burner but you don’t have to worry about having it too strong or not strong enough, you don’t have to worry about spilling the oil on furniture, carpet or yourself. Also, soy wax seems to hold a fragrance better and its stronger than most other candles.

A great place to learn more about these soy wax melts is to have a look at Blush Soy Candles, they use recyclable glass jars for their candles which contain no paraffin or other chemical stabilisers, and they use only cotton or paper wicks which allow for a clean, slow burn allowing for excellent scent throw. The best thing about soy wax is its a renewable resource that is biodegradable 🙂
